In collaboration with Biotools Biotechnology Company, MRC Team would like to utilize TAIWAN GUT PROJECT to establish the gut microbiome map and database of Taiwanese people in order to provide the microbiome health condition and disease profiling for the people and scientists.

Disease-specific Enterotype Project is an advanced microbiome clinical study aiming to identify the specific microbial compositions and important players in modulating diseases progression. Integrating clinical cohort study of specific diseases and healthy population inferred from TAIWAN GUT PROJECT, we aim to discover the fundamental and functional gut microbiome to predict, prognosis, prevent and treat diseases.
